How it works
TattsLotto, widely known as Saturday Lotto, draws six numbers from a pool of 1 to 45 every Saturday at 20:30 AEST/AEDT. After the main six numbers are drawn, two supplementary numbers follow from the same pool. These supplementary numbers determine winners in divisions two and five, but have no bearing on the division-one jackpot.
Players select six numbers on their entry. Match all six main numbers and you win division one. The minimum top prize sits at A$5,000,000 for regular draws, though Superdraws and Megadraws offer substantially larger starting pools. Full game rules and entry options are available at the operator's official page.
Odds and divisions
The probability of matching all six main numbers for a division-one win is 1 in 8,145,060. To put that in context, you are roughly as likely to flip a coin and land heads 23 times in a row. Lower divisions offer better odds because they require fewer matched numbers or rely on the supplementary balls, but we have not verified those figures independently.
If you win
Winners claim their prize directly through the licensed operator that issued the ticket. We do not handle prize payments, validate entries, or act as an intermediary in any claim process. For division-one wins, expect identity verification and a structured payout procedure governed by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission. Smaller prizes are typically credited to your online account or paid over the counter at authorised retail outlets, depending on where and how you purchased the ticket.
